Designed to fit on an existing basement foundation for an un-built timber framed house, Fish Road House is a 2,000 square foot structure in Portland, New York. The L-shaped two bedroom home with office space for work-from-home consultants is oriented so that most spaces look down the long meadow to views of Lake Erie. On the site of a long-gone train station, the property is dotted with old stone foundations that have been planted with wild flowers and climbing vines.
